Comments: Diego Rivera arrived in Spain in 1907, very portly and over six feet tall. During this year he studied art with the Spanish painter Eduardo Chicharro y Agüera. In Madrid, he studied the Spanish masters in the Museo del Prado, one of the world's greatest art museums: Brueghel, Cranach, El Greco, Velázquez, El Greco, Goya, and more.
